Every year in September I go to Asia to source gemstones and gain inspiration for my jewellery work. This year I went to Bali as it is a huge producer of Silver. I went to meet my fellow artisans to see how they work. Bali has been producing jewellery since as far back as the Bronze age. Most work is still done with very basic tools, and mostly by hand.

It was lovely to see a 'Canang Sari' at the workbench, one of the daily offerings made by Balinese Hindus to thank the Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa.
