The Materials we Use
Our Gold
• Though we use solid gold, not all of our rings are hallmarked as it interferes with the raised designs. Please inquire separately to have your ring hallmarked.
• 8K gold is a lower grade of gold and may darken slightly to a brass-like color with use. The photo shown in white is made from 14K white gold. 18K is a little more saturated in color as the amount of gold in the ring is significantly more.
• Our white gold is not rhodium-plated, so the gold may tinge towards yellow (14K and 18K) or gray (8K). This creates a more natural feel which goes with our vintage and nature-themed designs and does not require that the product be re-plated after a certain time.
Our Silver
• Each silver piece is rhodium-plated to achieve a brilliant white finish and enhanced durability. Over time, rings may need re-plating to restore their original lustre.
• Silver is a softer metal than gold and so polishing techniques are a little different. As our items have a lot of detail, silver items can be slightly more or less shiny, and details slightly different than the gold photos in the listing. Please refer to our reviews when possible.
• Silver also tarnishes much more quickly and can irritate some skin types. Any darkening on the skin can also occur when silver comes in contact with certain chemicals and soaps.
